Hi there

I'm assuming you mean Office 2010? I don't believe it knows anything about it. So odds are it will fail.

Cheers... Rick

Yes, I'm getting a new laptop with Windows 2010 and MS Office 2010.

Just to be clear, Cp4 will not work on it?  Will Cp5?

Hello again

That's what I figured.

*SOME* folks claim that Captivate 4 works just fine for them on Windows 7. Personally, it never worked for me until I downloaded and installed the Virtual Machine with XP mode. Although that made Captivate 4 work, I was unable to record anything outside the VM. So nothing in the windows 7 can be recorded.

So if you want things to work, I'd say you should consider upgrading Captivate to version 5.

Now having said that, I also have Office 2010 installed. Captivate does export Captions and Closed Captions for me, but I must open the document afterwards manually and independent from Captivate 5. If I just click the Yes button to try and view the document, Captivate issues the following dialog:

Cheers and happy Captivating! Rick
