MAC users will benefit most from the Organizer (a stripped down version of the Windows Organizer) as Bridge is nothing but a glorified browser. A new feature of the spot healing brush adds Content-Aware (borrowed from CS5) to the toolbar, along side Proximity Match and Texture, with mixed levels of success. Users of PSE8 who have a plug-in layer mask, or use the work arounds with adjustment layers as a mask, probably won’t need to rush to buy PSE9. Users of older versions will certainly benefit, notably from better integration with the Windows 7 operating system.
Thankfully the interface has been improved with the disappearance of those garish blue, orange, purple and green buttons - now resembling more closely the on-line apps at Photoshop Express
