I'm having an issue with context sensitive help created with RH 8. It seems that sometimes the books in the TOC fold out nicely to indicate to the user which topic they are viewing in the help, and other times for certain topics the books will not expand. At first I thought it was because my topic was nested within three books, but now I'm not really sure what the issue is.

Awww rats! My crystal ball is on the fritz again.

What is your output type? If it's WebHelp, the fact it's three layers/levels deep could very well explain it. And if I guessed correctly, you should be able to fix it by editing your Single Source Layout properties for WebHelp. Specifically, click the Next > button until you see the section that labels the dialog WebHelp Options and has an area labeled Optimize Speed For. Configure the speed optimization for Local PC. Then generate, publish and try again.

Cheers... Rick
