Win 7 causing freakishly large mice

I recently upgraded to Win 7 and after doing my first post-upgrade recording, I noticed that my captured mouse is weirdly large. I've attempted to change to the correct size and apply changes to all, to no avail. Has anyone else encountered this or am I being overly-critical? If it matters, I recorded a web page in 1530 X 1000 size, which I'm going to compress to a 1014 X 723 size, but the gargantuan mouse appeared pre-compression.
