Seeking Gettoken Alternative

I have an application working that receives emails from a vendor and inserts the body of the email into a database. My objective is to then retrieve the records one at a time and extract key information such as price, shipdate and UPS tracking numbers. I use gettoken in a lot of my applications, but it doesn't seem to be suited for this.

Anyone with any ideas?

Is there a common, underlying structure to the body of these e-mails?

sort of - but I was hoping to target keywords, example "Price:"

if it did have a common structure what would you recommend?

Do you have control over the format of the e-mail? If so, make a list of the things you want to extract, then figure out a layout that is easy to parse. If you don't have control of the format, well, that's a problem.
