1. Re: Workspace default
Bill Hunt Sep 26, 2010 6:46 PM (in response to Jarliei)If what you need is the default Workspace, then Window>Workspace>Reset Workspace (or similar syntax) should do it for you.
Good luck,
Hunt

2. Re: Workspace default
Jarliei Sep 26, 2010 6:55 PM (in response to Bill Hunt)Sorry, I did not explain it properly.
What I would like is to (1) Create my own Default workspace and (2) have PP to always open NEW PROJECTS in MY default workspace.

3. Re: Workspace default
Bill Hunt Sep 26, 2010 7:00 PM (in response to Jarliei)Well, not sure if CS5 is a departure, but in earlier versions, if one set up a Custom Workspace, and then exited, that was the workspace for that, or any new Projects, so long as the Custom Workspace was Saved, and was active, when the program was shut down. I am not saying that things have not changed, but it worked that way for me.
Good luck,
Hunt

4. Re: Workspace default
Mach10Media Sep 26, 2010 8:12 PM (in response to Jarliei)Make whatever changes you want to the 'default' workspace, which is the 'editing' workspace. Whatever changes you have made will remain until you change them again. Those changes will be reflected every time you use that space in any project, and that workspace will load automatically everytime you create a new project.

6. Re: Workspace default
jeremy d. Sep 26, 2010 9:39 PM (in response to Jarliei)I would suggest that you also save your new workspace separately, because if you accidentally do a Reset Workspace while you're using the Editing workspace, all of your changes will be lost. This is essentially your backup.
