Converting magazine pdf to online pdf magazine viewer

I tried to search to look for this info but the search feature has been throwing errors for me the last couple of days. What I'm trying to do is see if CF has features or functions that would allow me to use the pdf files used for print production of a magazine to create an online magazine viewer on my web site. I'm specifically looking for the forward and backward navigation, search, links and so forth. I've seen plenty of sites using this type of viewer/reader but wonder if this is something I could create using Cold Fusion.

You mean something other the the Adobe Reader browser plug-in that works
with linked PDF files?

Yes, I was wanting to create an online reader similar to the others out there like the zino reader or something like this:

These types of magazine readers are usually Flash applications. You convert the PDFs to image files for each page and the Flash controls the paging effects, sounds, zoom, etc.

If you want to *create* an online reader, then you are talking about
Windows|Mac|Linux desktop programming to create a client plug-in for
browsers. ColdFusion does not really do this.

That example you provided to is just FlashPaper. Just such a client,
plug-in tool created originally by Macromedia now acquired by Adobe
[ http://www.adobe.com/products/flashpaper/ There is lots of
speculation if this product will continued to be developed, dropped in
favor of Adobe Reader [ http://get.adobe.com/reader/ or merge the two
products. I am not aware if any official information has been provided
along these lines.

These are not the only such plug-ins, but they are the best known. A
bit of Googling turned up http://www.schubert-it.com/pluginpdf/ "PDF
Browser Plugin", but I have never heard of this one before.

Another good example to reconmmend http://www.axmag.com/gallery/maya2009/index.html . I've tried this and the online conversion http://www.axmag.com/submit.html seems to be free.

I know it's an Adobe Forum, but Flash page is not that good when is comes to pdf magazine viewer. On the contrary, many small sites are doing well in this area.

I've tried Brad Aarron's advice, the axmag.com is a good one with a free online conversion.
