1. Re: Color footage exports as black & white
Bill Hunt Sep 28, 2010 8:28 AM (in response to Keith Goodwin)The only thing that I can think of would be if an Effect has been added to the footage, converting the color to B/W.
Hope that others will have useful ideas.
Good luck,
Hunt

2. Re: Color footage exports as black & white
Keith Goodwin Sep 28, 2010 9:17 AM (in response to Bill Hunt)There is no B & W effect added. I have a garbage mat and a layer behind the video which is a white jpg with color replace applied to match the background in the video. No other effects are applied.
Thanks for the input. Hopefully we will figure it out.

5. Re: Color footage exports as black & white
JSS1138 Sep 28, 2010 6:39 PM (in response to Keith Goodwin)Neither are the best choices. Try VLC, KM Player or GOM Player.
Also, burn a copy to DVD-R/W and watch on a real TV, just to confirm the issue is indeed with the file and not with the playback software.

Ann Bens Sep 29, 2010 3:42 AM (in response to Keith Goodwin)Nest the track with the garbage matte.
See it that will help.
