Please take a look at our website: www.2imagine.eu. We are a small but innovative software company, dedicated to automated and unattended publishing solutions, with two main portals: a web-based, Online InDesign Editor and an automated publishing tool to create flyers, leaflets, catalogs, and so on.
Importing a CSV file to create variable output is just one of the features we offer.
Depending on your needs, we can offer our solutions in a SaaS model, and from Q1 2011 we will offer a licensed model as well, so you can install it on your own servers.
Please let me know if you are interested, so we can setup a demo if you want.
What you want to do requires InDesign Server. It is not legal to use InDesign Desktop in the way you describe...
correct. Our application is based on InDesign server and offered as a SaaS license. Q1 2011 we will be offering it in a licensed model, for you to install it on your own server.
Not legal? I am just trying to automatically open InDesign and pass it a csv file to create a document with.
Thanks, but we dont need a huge, expensive solution to solve this one problem. It's not going to be used all the time either. I am wondering if maybe this can be done with a batch file perhaps?
