    PSE9 Organizer Print Dialog - 2 bugs

    Dennis Smith Community Member

Appear to be two things that do not work correctly in the print dialog

      1. as noted earlier, selecting a custom size (in my case 5.25x3.74), the size gets reduced each time a set is printed -- at least in trying 12 times it was reduced in each case - the amount was small, but by the time 12 sets were printed the result was less than 5x3.1
      2. the "Print NN Copies of Each Image" appears to do nothing.  I set it to 3, selected 2 images and got 2 items printed on the page.  The preview in the print-dialog showed 2, but I guessed that by the time it printed it might have corrected itself -- but it did not.  I exited and restarted the Organizer, but the result was the same

      These are rather serious issues.

Which is the printer that you are using in this case? I am able to see the first issue mentioned by you, but not the second one. Can you please explain more the second issue?

At first I tought -- why would the specific printer affect this?  So I tried selecting other printers (I only have one REAL printer, but a few things that act like printers).   What I found

            1. my real printer (Canon ip4600) -- changing the 'copies of image' has no effect -- either when its changed or if left at say 2 or 3 and then close and re-open the print-dialog -- I still get only 1 copy showing on the preview or in the final result
            2. "pdfFactory", a 3rd party PDF file generator -- when selected, the "copies image" count is frozen at 1
            3. "Page Manager PDF Writer" -- acts like my Canon ip4600 -- I can change the copies but it has no effect

As one more test, I installed a print driver for my old Epson 825.

Same result -- selecting "copies" was ignored (it changed the number, but

did not try and print duplicates).
