New laptop, get "licensed for a different account" msg

I recently got a new laptop and transfered all files from my old laptop into the new one. All ebook files have been copied too.

Then I installed ADE. When I tried to read ebooks from my old laptop, ADE says "Document is licensed for a different user account" message.

When I tried to download the book from my online bookshelf, ADE says "Error getting license, E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER"

How can I get the ADE on my new laptop to understand that I am the same user as the one on my old laptop (which has been cleansed of all programs and data)?

The must both be activated to the same AdobeID.  If you are anonymously activated on either computer you will not be able to transfer content between them.
