1. Re: Ps CS3 to CS4
Noel Carboni Oct 7, 2010 9:32 AM (in response to on5lb)Unless you're short on disk space, it's usually good advice not to deactivate / remove an older version of Photoshop. Multiple versions can happily coexist, and sometimes the older versions have features that have been deprecated in the newer.
Removing the old version after installing the new one has been reported to sometimes cause problems with file associations (e.g., double clicking a file might not open it in CS4 any more). That can be overcome by reinstalling the new version or making some registry tweaks that can be found with a search on this forum.
And yes, you're allowed to install Photoshop on two different computers.

2. Re: Ps CS3 to CS4
on5lb Oct 7, 2010 11:01 AM (in response to Noel Carboni)Hi Noel,
Thanks for your reply,
I already expected that, and left both CS3's installed (room enough).
But i unactivated Ps CS3 (only) do i have to reactivate ? I don't think so.
What about using the same Id CS4 on two different computers ? Possible ?
regards,
Jean
