1. Re: Flash DVD... Motion menus are coming out black
Colin Brougham Oct 7, 2010 11:50 AM (in response to Stanley Arthur)Stan,
In the "Sources" folder, is there an FLV/F4V file that comprises the content of your motion menu? That would indicate whether it's happening in the encoding stage (no file) or the building stage (file is there, but not shown).
For reference, my thread below about Flash DVDs has transitions (not motion backgrounds) that are Premiere sequences brought in via Dynamic Link; they are encoded and appear correctly in the finished Flash DVD.

Stanley Arthur Oct 7, 2010 12:21 PM (in response to Colin Brougham)I have tried it now using linked PPro sequences as well as rendered .mp4 files. I'll try something else and see if I can get it to work. As I said before, it works fine making a DVD disc, but not a Flash DVD.

Stanley Arthur Oct 7, 2010 4:09 PM (in response to Stanley Arthur)Hey, I figured out a fix. Turns out it wasn't the clip format. Turns out that you must have a button on a motion menu, AND, you gotta have the buttons image eyeball poked out. So in this case, what I'm doing is trying to create a web site using this Flash DVD option. It's a web site that works like a DVD in a Flash player. So that means it's a web site with a full-screen option and a volume control. It allows me to take my motion graphics skills and apply them to web design without needing to know anything about Flash. Check it out:

raj2ashok Oct 8, 2010 1:14 AM (in response to Stanley Arthur)Yes, that's a bug in Encore CS5. Flash motion menu should
have atleast a button, else you can see only a black background
