We use map ID's for the CSH links in the output WebHelp guide. The links in our program all work correctly, I was just wondering if there is a way to default the view to have the TOC on the left side with the topic they were directed to on the right (see screenshot below for view). As if they clicked the Show link in the top, left corner of the page that displays (see screenshot below for Show link).Show.png

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes it is possible but it is something your developers have to do. There is something in the online help for RoboHelp but I am not sure it covers that. There is also some information about calling help on my site.

The topic file name that you enter in the "Select Output Folder and Start Page" panel of the General window (the first of the four Generate Wizard windows) is the topic that contains all the "startup" navigation information. So, as Peter's site will indicate, your CSH call needs to filter through that page.

Good luck,

Leon

Thanks guys- I used a combo of what you both said. I found my window name under the Project Setup pod> Windows folder and then my developers used the directions from http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/calling_webhelp/using_map_ids_merged.htm.

Many thanks!
