Stan Jones Oct 19, 2010 12:21 PM (in response to DesignCBTs)When you bring this into Encore, what is the BLURAY transcode setting - "do not transcode" or other?

DesignCBTs Oct 19, 2010 9:49 PM (in response to Stan Jones)You're correct. It states "Don't Transcode". Should I be using a different setting?

7. Re: Why does m2v files take up so much space on Blu-Ray discs?
raj2ashok Oct 19, 2010 10:46 PM (in response to DesignCBTs)I believe you are seeing the estimated output size in the Encore's build panel and not with the output BD. Actually Encore adds 10% buffer size while estimating BD contents to avoid any disc insufficient situation, thatz why you are seeing the problem. Hope this should not occurs with the output BD. Just burn a BD and and check the output size.
Note: you don't need to change the transcoding status from "Dont Transcode" to anything else. DVD and Bluray (SD asset ONLY*) can use the same preset, don't retranscode them.
