Hello there!

Using LiveCycle Designer and Reader Extensions, is there a way to insert the date and time when a document has been created?

What must I use, JavaScript?

Thank you for any hints.

You could add code to the prePrint event that woudl enter the current Date and time into a field onto the form. This date and time woudl be taken from the local system. There is a Current Date object in the Custom library. Use that but take the code that is in the Layout Ready event and move it to the PrePrint event.

Do you mean when the document is opened by the user or when the Reader Extensions are applied?
