Identify Orphan Images in DM MX2004

    Dennis Hughes Community Member
I recently signed on to help with a web site. There are a lot of orphan images and I would like to identify and remove them.

Any suggestions? They are in an "images" folder.

      Thanks,

      Dennis

Just start removing them one at a time using the files menu and if they are
linked to a file dreamweaver will ask you if you want to remove it or not.

This approach works well providing that the site is totally static, and all
of the image links are stored in the site cache. However if the site serve
content from a database then this approach wont work as the images may be
            reference there.
