HippoHQ - Paul Shaw Oct 30, 2010 4:22 PM (in response to JSS1138)CS4 installed on the C: (same as Windows) and projects are captured on the D: (1Tb/1.5Tb SATA) or G: (1Tb Firewire800) both drives formated with NTFS and the projects capture scratch is set to "Same as Project" (i.e. on the D: or G:). E: is an inturnal DVD burner and F: is an exturnal BD Burner. Both PC are the same as the exturnals will be moved as needed to either one.

5. Re: CS4 Crash on loading project under Windows 7
Bill Hunt Oct 31, 2010 5:19 PM (in response to HippoHQ - Paul Shaw)I often edit to/from FW-800's (all Assets, Project file and Scratch Disks) with no slow-down. However each computer has multiple internal HDD's, and the OS/programs (and the Page Files) are separate from all of my Projects. Even an 8+ hour Project loads in no time, and that is from the FW-800 HDD's.
Good luck,
Hunt
