    Avoiding bad recording

I know this question isn't specifically soundbooth related.  If someone knows a good forum to post it in please let me know.

I am recording with a sennheiser wireless system.  My employer is the "actor" in all our videos.  When he does a video he speaks very loud.  I have the levels in the camera set very low, it isn't getting out of the green, ever.  When he speaks loud (all the time during a video) the recording sounds like the levels are peaking into the red.  When he speaks in a normal voice the recording is good.  He says I have to find a way to deal with it.  When we test the mic with anyone else who is speaking normally the recording is good.

I have replaced a previous employee who was let go.  His video sounds better than what I am getting.  There has to be a way to accomplish this.  We have replaced the mic, which was an improvement, but hasn't fixed the problem. I have been told we aren't spending any more money on equipment, to find a solution.   Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.
