Go into the Win7 hardware manager and change the Firewire driver to the one with LEGACY in the name
That works! (So far, anyway.....it hasn't bombed yet.) Thanks a lot.
The solution is not to set the affinity, but only to change the driver. This is a Windows7 problem, not an Adobe problem. Reset the CPU affinity to all.
HI all. I have tried all options and this change of affinity,CPU.
Firewire change, dropped frames off, ntfs hard drive, disk defrag, changed firewire port. yes even reinstalled adode Ppro cs6
I still get Recorder error-lost connection to device after 5 minutes of capture.
Is there anything else that is the below the surface issues.
I looked on forum for record error low level occurred capture device-but found nothing. I received this twice.
Reinstall CS6 but leave it at 6.0, dont update.
See if that version will work.
The problem was the device intensity shuttle apparently in wasn't fully compatible with Premiere CS6(strange since it's advertised that way). I installed the capture software that comes with the Intensity shuttle and works quite well except doesn't have that mark in and out like adobe premiere has, you have to watch the capture or be busy with something else while keeping an eye on it.
MY SOLUTION: Used the capture software that came with the intensity shuttle as doesn't record audio with premiere and gives errors
FUTURE ADVICE: If you want to re-install ADOBE Software to fix error make sure you DEACTIVATE under help menu first, otherwise when you re-install and use your serial number you might have issues.
