Getting this strange error:
"A kernel mode debugger installation has been detected. Please uninstall for correct operation."
If I continue to click OK, it will eventually load up Media Encoder and let me proceed, but I'm wondering what's going on. Only thing out of the ordinary was this project was a CS4 project that was saved as CS5.
Yeah, I've never heard of that one... ;-)
I guess you could try to import the CS4 project into a new clean CS5 project and see if that helps out.
I just tried this with a brand NEW CS5 project, and it's doing the same thing.
I think I may have figured out what is causing the error. The other day, I was messing around in my MSCONFIG file to tweak some of the boot settings (see attached) under Advanced options.
You'll notice that the Debug option is checked. I'm not sure if it was that way as default or if I accidentally activated it when tweaking the Processors/Memory settings, but after UNCHECKING Debug and restarting, I'm no longer having that error.
Hope that helps anyone else...
