Shikha Bhargava Sep 15, 2010 12:59 AM (in response to Petteri_Paananen)Currently Melrose supports three activations per application. If a customer buys an app, they can activate the application on 3 different machines. Currently Melrose does not offer multi-user licensing on one single machine.
Presently we are working on a process to provide you coupon codes that lets you give away paid apps and these apps would still be licensed by Melrose. -

DMcQ Nov 5, 2010 11:30 AM (in response to Shikha Bhargava)Has there been any progress on the coupon idea?
Also, is it possible to do a "site-license," e.g. one purchase of 20 seats at a discounted rate.
Thanks for providing a great service. -

Shikha_Adobe Nov 8, 2010 1:31 PM (in response to DMcQ)We want to provide a service on the InMarket Portal where you can request coupons. However in the mean time, please send me a private message with details on your application name and I have a manual process to provide you coupons.
Currently, InMarket licensing does not provide 20 seat site-licensing capability. However with one purchase, users can install the application on 3 seats with 3 activations. Is this the only route to market you have for your application?

DMcQ Nov 8, 2010 2:03 PM (in response to Shikha_Adobe)Hi Shikha,
I don't yet have my application listed on InMarket, I'm just researching the service. Using coupons would help me migrate users from my existing registration system.
As for site-licensing, like many applications I have a tiered discount for site-licenses (20,50,100,etc.) so the question isn't as much about 20 seats per se but rather the ability to have different discounts for different kinds of site-licenses. Will InMarket supports this kind of structure in the future?
Thanks for your help,
Daniel -

George Yanakiev Nov 9, 2010 12:20 PM (in response to Shikha Bhargava)Hi Shikha,
is there a way to control the number of activations for specific applications?
We might not want to allow 3 activations per purchase.

We want to support multiuser licensing model, but I cannot comment on the timelines yet. Sorry for being vague.

Shikha Bhargava Nov 10, 2010 2:41 PM (in response to George Yanakiev)Hi George,
You cannot control the number of activations per application, it set to 3 for all applications.
