1. Re: Can Encore's flash be embedded in facebook?
Stan Jones Nov 11, 2010 3:32 PM (in response to cutmymovie)Is this too much to ask for this day and age?!!!
My short answer: "yes."Not a simple request, since, even though the Encore to Flash swf plays in a flash player, it requires several other files. I'll bet facebook etc is not interested in such an app.
That said, it is certainly possible. I may look at what this might take, but don't hold your breath.
Just upload a regular video to youtube or similar and use one of the apps available to add it to facebook. But it would be cool to have the dvd navigation there.

2. Re: Can Encore's flash be embedded in facebook?
cutmymovie Nov 11, 2010 10:09 PM (in response to Stan Jones)Thanks. The biggest reason why I ditched youtube and also don't bother with uploading regular video to facebook is because the music industry's absurd heavy-handed copyright control. No sense in putting up a wedding video recap if they're gonna yank the audio out or faceook yank the entire video off.

3. Re: Can Encore's flash be embedded in facebook?
cutmymovie Nov 11, 2010 10:25 PM (in response to cutmymovie)Here's another idea I just thought of when thinking about the problem and the product itself. Encore creates a blank web page that plays the flash in it.
So are there any apps that allow you to preview or view standard web pages within a window or viewer box?
