2. Re: Espace entre paragraphes.
on5lb Nov 12, 2010 8:30 AM (in response to macinbytes)Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I supose "macinbytes", you're using MacPro (?) because the presentation is different on a Windows system.
And...we are using metric systems in Europe !
But, i checked it, and they are all indicating zeros (0) !
Trying to reduce, impossible, but i can increase (stupid), or am i stupid ?
I will give it an other try, but when you're not used to an application, it can be frustrating.
Thanks, and sorry for your time.
I let you know if i succeed.
Regards,
Jean

3. Re: Espace entre paragraphes.
macinbytes Nov 12, 2010 8:51 AM (in response to on5lb)I am a bit of a mac guy. My friend who doesn't use a computer at all blankets all computers as "the megabytes" and later blanketed all things mac as "the macinbytes" and that stuck as nickname.
If you want to reduce the space between lines you can do that in the character panel, to increase space between paragraphs you'd do that in the paragraph panel.
It looks like you want less leading. Maybe read help on leading to help you out.

on5lb Nov 12, 2010 9:26 AM (in response to macinbytes)Hi,
I'm a "little" bit of mac guy, because 2 years back, one of the Apple distributors in Brussels, sold me a bright new Mac Pro made in Ireland (10,000 €) which should be compatible for Leopard and Windows ! And i believed that
Configuration: Dual quad processors 3.2 GHz :: 4 x SAS 300GB (15,000rpm) :: 16GB DDR :: RAID card (it's ua must) !
Finally, after weeks contacting the EXPERTS...impossible to use Windows with the RAID card and SAS drives.
Congratulation Macintosh !
So, i have a top computer which i never use (or rarely)
About the leading, i'll check it and let you know.
Regards,
Jean

macinbytes Nov 12, 2010 10:09 AM (in response to on5lb)That's an amazing rid. I'd think you could ditch the raid and make use of that without the RAID striping.
I'd love to run SAS drives but they are a lot of cash.

on5lb Nov 12, 2010 11:29 AM (in response to macinbytes)Inpossible !
You may believe i tried all possible options.
I'm in computer business since...1974 !
Started a company devoted to industrial quality control, using image analyzes systems since 1979 !
Using the SAS drives is ONLY possible with the "INCLUDED" RAID card.
Yes, i can, and did it for a test, take of the RAID card, using SATA drives instead of the SAS
What i can do, is installing a SSD (even two for BOOT drives) using the second room from the DVD2.
There are unusable SATA connexions on the motherboard.
But it's to early for the SSD, i already use it as a test.
Have a nice WE,
Jean
