Curt Y Nov 16, 2010 7:59 AM (in response to Jarliei)You may be assuming your problems are everyone's problem. Have not see this issue "in the news", so it may be specific to your setup.
I would check to see if this is an OS problem. Bridge, like most programs, relies on other programs to do certain tasks, this may be one of them.
Personally, I always use copy to or move to rather than the copy/paste routine.

3. Re: Is Adobe (Bridge) listening?
Jarliei Nov 16, 2010 12:09 PM (in response to Curt Y)Curt Y,
You’ll find there are a number of posts dealing with what seems to be “Fundamentals” issue regarding basic operations, but none have been addressed by Adobe. Granted nothing is ever perfect, I accept that problems do exist, but on the same token a response from Adobe telling us that they are working on these issues and a fix is on its way will be reassuring to say the least.
Regarding the suggestion to look into the OS is like suggesting that the weather has something to do with the problem, there is nothing that anyone can do about the weather but talk about it and there is nothing that anyone can do about the OS unless Adobe comes along and say that “Bridge cannot accept this parameter (whatever it is ) in an OS and therefore it has to be fixed so that Bridge will work properly.
“Copy to / Move to” are an acceptable method for handling a hand full of photos but not at a situation where hundreds of photos have to be rearranged.
Also as “Copy to / Move to” works fine, one will accept that “Copy/ Cut / Paste” will be like wise.
