CJGerow Nov 17, 2010 6:10 AM (in response to JSS1138)Jim,
Thanks for your help. I use Ctrl-T to do the first title - fill it in, and insert in the sequence. I then do some editing on the time line. The do another Ctrl-T and that is when I run into troubles.
I have two cameras on this shoot. I'm using camera 1 as the base - it also has all the audio. Unlike most of my editing, I took the entire set of clips and added them to the sequence and then I editing the sequence, instead of taking clips from the source.
I've started on adding clips from the second camera, and lost the entire effort when I found I couldn't add the titles for my transitions. I was tempted to go into photoshop and create them there, but this is such a basic function - I probably have somthing wrong in the project file that will bite me later.
Thanks
Chris

Two things. Try creating a title from the menu command. Also, try opening the current title and creating a new one by clicking the "New Title Based on Current Title" icon in the upper left of the title pane.
Report back the results.

CJGerow Nov 18, 2010 6:23 AM (in response to JSS1138)Jim,
I've lost all confidence that I can fix this problem. I think my project file got corrupted some how - don't ask how. I have deleted all but the clips and have started all over again - I just do not have the time to trouble shoot this any longer. I'm back up and running - we will see what happens. If I still have problems, I will amend this discussion.
Thanks for your help,
Chris
