vco_se11 May 11, 2010 12:57 PM (in response to Michael Lamy)Sorry, I should have been clearer -- I'm talking about entering pixel values numerically in the top bar. I just wish the link button would stay on or off based on the previous use of Free Transform.

Powerbard Jul 16, 2010 3:48 PM (in response to vco_se11)Yeah, funny, I'm in the exact same boat. All the little things I've dealt with since Photoshop 5.0 are coming out of the woodwork, now that we're on CS5. This is a big one for me. It would be great if it remembered all those little things up there. There a few other Free Transform quirks that bother me, like that I can't hide and unhide layers while I'm in a free transform. This happens all time where I get my free transform just right, and then I need to see a layer that I have hidden, and I have to start over.

Reillet Nov 11, 2010 8:08 AM (in response to Powerbard)Yes this would be incredibly useful.
99% of transforms I execute are proportional and while holding the shift key works, with a tablet it becomes a bit of a problem.
In my humble opinion it should be linked by default.
You can break the proportional link easily by moving one of the middle boxes, the inverse is not possible.

emil emil Nov 21, 2010 1:03 PM (in response to vco_se11)I support this request, the settings should remain the same for the next use
Alternatively, this can also be done with adding Alt key when using the Ctrl + T to get the transform tool either with the previous settings or the default ones. This tool is used very often and such features will make accomplishing jobs faster.
