1. Re: Importing PPro sequences named correctly
Colin Brougham Nov 23, 2010 6:07 PM (in response to sebrame)Sadly, there is no way to do this, at least not in the direction you're going. If you send a sequence to AME from Premiere Pro, the export name matches the sequence name; if you add a Premiere Pro sequence to the AME queue, you get the behavior you're describing. Doesn't make a lot of sense, eh?
Best I can tell you is to file a feature request: Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form

sebrame Nov 23, 2010 7:48 PM (in response to Colin Brougham)Seems there isn't a specific selection with which to request a feature for AME. My first guess would be to choose the Creative Suite heading.

Colin Brougham Nov 23, 2010 8:22 PM (in response to sebrame)I've always used the Premiere option for filing AME requests; they're not the same thing, obviously, but I think they're working together closely enough to route things properly.

Todd_Kopriva Nov 23, 2010 10:24 PM (in response to Colin Brougham)When requesting an AME feature or filing a bug, file it under the product that you're using as an AME client---in this case Premiere Pro.
The Premiere Pro, After Effects, and AME teams are very, very closely related. We sit next to each other, we're on the same mailing lists, we have lunch together, we have the same bosses, et cetera. If you file something under "Creative Suite", I have no idea where it goes.
