Hi!
I am unable to create Adobe AIR output from RoboHelp 8. When I compile the project, I receive the following error message. Can someone check and let me know what must be done to create the AIR ouput successfully?
I'm not familiar with "RoboHelp Packager for RoboHelp AIR" - I've always created AIR help by using the Single Source Layout in RH8. Maybe you should try creating a new AIR SSL layout (don't copy an existing one - create a new one from scratch to eliminate corruption).

To eliminate your project as the cause, try using one of the sample projects & generate AIR help with it. If it works, then you know that your project is at fault; if it doesn't, then something in the RH install is wrong.

Hi!
Thanks for your response. I tried to create Adobe AIR output using one of the sample projects. The same error message was still displayed. I reinstalled RoboHelp 8 and attempted to create the AIR output to see the same error message.
However, I am able to create AIR output from WebHelp of the same project using the RoboHelp Packager for RoboHelp AIR.

Hi Jeff
I think RoboHelp 7 was when Adobe came up with the idea of AIR Help. At the time, it was a separate download and allowed the help author to package a WebHelp output as AIR Help.
RoboHelp 8 had the feature included as part of the main output types.
Cheers... Rick

Hi Jeff!
Thank you so much. I once again installed RoboHelp 8 and created the project from scratch. This time I successfully generated the Adobe AIR output.
Thank you once again!
