I have CF Builder Beta 2 (standalone version) installed on a Mac Pro with OS X 10.6.1 and 10GB RAM.
After a few minutes working with CF Builder, the whole system slows down - most noticeably when switching between applications.
Activity Monitor shows that the WindowServer process is fluctuating wildly, often right up to 100% CPU.
Quitting CF Builder stops the process misbehaving, and computer performance returns to normal.
I've seen at least one other user with the same issue on Twitter, so I don't think it's just me!

Yeah, I'm having the exact same problems with CF Builder Beta 2. At first I thought it was a problem with CFBuilder running out of heap memory, so I increased all of the memory values in CFBuilder.ini. It seems that after I made that change, it takes longer for WindowServer to begin having a problem, but once it does it is far worse. I am running a Mac Pro 2x2.66ghz quad core Xeon with 12gb of ddr3 memory.
By the way, have you submitted a bug report on this?

They've closed this bug. I am, however still having this issue with the official public release.

Thank you! I tried that fix last month and it worked!
I'll share the news with my team.
Thanks again for the follow up.
