Syntax chech without running App

Hi All:

How do I check for syntax error in my app in FB without running?  Better, is there a mode where it  will show my mistakes  as I type?  Thanks  Bob

I found that hitting the save button with "Build Automatically" checked under the projects menu will do a syntax check.  Hope this helps, Bob
