All I want to do: Add a close window button (round/square with an "x" through it) to either one or many html files. I don't see how to do this.

Using RoboHelp 8 HTML and WinXP. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. But where do I find a "close window" image? If I select CTRL + G and click Gallery, I don't see any "close window" images in the Button category. Seems like these types of images should be available somewhere in RoboHelp.

Ahh I see now. You are asking where to obtain such an image!

The RoboHelp Gallery doesn't contain one. Sorry. You will need to obtain one from any number of other locations.

You might look at the following link for one possibility.

Icon Archive

Here are a couple from my own colloection. You might right-click and save as.

There are also a number of packages you may purchase or find. Perhaps the following link will help.

I cannot advise on the legal implications of using said images.

Thanks, Rick - I'll try one of those sources you sent. I find it surprising that RoboHelp has an Insert -> HTML Help Controls -> Close Window menu item, and yet there are no images available in the gallery when you click Image:

Sure seems like there should be a built-in gallery for these types of images, so we users don't have to hunt and peck for them.

Hello again

To be totally honest, I've been using RoboHelp since 1992. And in all those years, the number of times I've actually used that control is zero.

You mention the Gallery? When I click the folder icon after inserting a control it doesn't open in the RoboHelp Gallery. Instead, my file browser opens in what may be the last location I visited. So perhaps at one point it would have opened in the Gallery.

To my knowledge, the images supplied in the gallery area haven't changed in many many versions of RoboHelp.

Cheers... Rick
