Hi guys,

I would like to ask your opinion why the COUNT calculated field not working on the GROUP header? Suppose I have 10 records in the report. It should display 10 not 0. But if I put the count field in the Group Footer it worked fine. So a little weird 'coz I've tried something like this in the crystal report and it worked fine.

Any idea? Thanks a lot.

In order to help you troubleshoot your issue it would be useful to get:

1. The CF code in question

2. The SQL query in question with sample data

3. A sample or description of the expected output

4. A sample or description of the actual output

5. Any error messages or relavent log entries

Hi, Actually there is no error message. It just that the Calculated field in Coldfusion report builder

cannot COUNT the records if you put the calculated field in the GROUP header band of the design.

But if I put the calculated COUNT field in the footer it worked fine. Thats why I'm confused coz in the crystal report either way the calculated count field worked okay.

Thanks for the reply.
