1. Re: Can't open forms with Adobe Reader X
ssuuppeerrbb Dec 21, 2010 11:19 AM (in response to ssuuppeerrbb)I found an issue with the new security features in this version of Reader. If you go to Edit>Preferences>General and uncheck "Enable procted mode at startup." You will get a pop-up warning that you will need to manually restart Adobe Reader. Restart the reader and the problem seems to be resolved "for now"

George_Johnson Dec 22, 2010 1:22 AM (in response to ssuuppeerrbb)Are these forms XFA (LiveCycle Designer) forms or Acroforms (created with Acrobat)?
Can you provide a link to a sample?

ssuuppeerrbb Dec 22, 2010 11:20 AM (in response to George_Johnson)I'm gonna email you a copy of the log file after trying to open these forms in protected mode. Doesn't help me a lot but maybe you know how to read this type of script.

George_Johnson Dec 22, 2010 12:10 PM (in response to ssuuppeerrbb)Nothing jumped out at me, but I don't have the expertise to evaluate it.
Hopefully someone from Adobe will wander by and take an interest in this problem.

Claudio González Dec 22, 2010 12:51 PM (in response to ssuuppeerrbb)Linford, I don't know if you really want all that personal information in your message #5 made public. If you don't, I suggest opening a new thread to ask for it to be removed...
