If you extract as individual files, you can save them individually in whatever format you want. If that's all you want to do though, as an automated process, then ExactAudioCopy (free) will probably do a more efficient job of it.

Bob Howes Dec 22, 2010 11:36 PM (in response to SteveG(AudioMasters))What SteveG said. I tend to use the inbuilt Audition ripper (that's the import command) for occasional one-off tracks but move to EAC if I'm copying whole CDs.
One other advantage of EAC is that it does a great job of copying disks with scratches and other errors--and, as it's free, the price is right too.
