1. Re: Need help with creating a brush
snunicycler Dec 29, 2010 9:59 AM (in response to Shlomit Heymann)what you need to do is make a brush that looks like the tip of a brush. photoshop has several already but you can make your own that will be better.
get a paintbrush and paint a spot kind of like what you did but dont paint a stroke. make it look kindof grungy. then make your brush from that, making sure to desaturate it and everything.
EDIT:
oh, and if you bring the fill down to like 10-20% your stroke will look better

4. Re: Need help with creating a brush
snunicycler Dec 29, 2010 10:10 AM (in response to Shlomit Heymann)i dont think you can unanswer something. oh well.
other than adjusting the fill, if you want the stroke to have variations and stuff like that in it like a normal brush would.... i dont think photoshop can do that. you can mess around with the settings in the brushes pallet but i dont think you'll get the result you want. maybe corel painter will work for you, i have it at home, i'm at work right now but i'll check when i get home
