Adobe Digital Editions will not recognise my Elonex Ebook 621eb

I have just received an Elonex Ebook 621eb and have gone through the process of downloading ADE and it has authorised my computer, however when I connect the Ebook via the usb to the computer nothing happens - it does not come up with the Adobe ID to authorise the device. I know the Ebook works as we have downloaded a pdf file and pasted it into the ebook as it appears on the H Drive in my computer.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get it to work via ADE ?

Thanks Sarah

Had the same problem - this worked for me - Disconnect the e-reader from the PC, go to Settings, Default on the reader and select/enter - this restores the factory settings - then try reconnecting to the PC and see if ADE then recognises. Good Luck

Not an expert, but a suggestion/question. Did you plug in the ereader first, then open ADE? Apparently, ADe

automatically finds the device and then asks you to register. Didn't happen for me though! But since yours is a supposedly compatible devi

ce (see here:

http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalpublishing/supported-devices) it should work.
