I have a working published glossary from robohelp 8 but it does not load all the entries consistently. I do not have the original project so I am working on the problem from the back end. The glossary behaves as it should in all other ways but will not load the whole file. It does not stop on the same entry each time either.

Welcome to our community

Does the behavior change if you make the following changes?

Edit the Single Source Layout recipe.

Click Next > until you reach the WebHelp Options - WebHelp dialog.

Configure the Optimize Speed For to Local PC or Intranet (Internal Network)

Re-generate, Re-publish and test.

Give that a go and let us know if it changes anything!

Cheers... Rick

The person who published it initially reloaded it with that option and it did not fix it. I do not have the project files just the output so I am trying to fix it on the backend with a code workaround.

Thanks

Hello again

If you are trying to "fix" things by mucking about with the output files, all I can say is "best of luck to you"! And Happy Tweaking!

The thing is, RoboHelp treats the entire WebHelp output as a complete ecosystem. It's quite involved and there are more interdependencies than are easily tracked. Not unlike an application, a tweak to one spot can bring a host of issues to another.

Cheers... Rick
