Error message when Authorizing computer

I have recently downloaded Adobe Digital Edition, and when I try to authorize the computer (or even when I select "Don't Authorize Computer), I get an error message: "E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/Activate 2011-01-06T23:07:23-08:00%20(1294384043000)%20is%20before%202011-01-07T10:38:03-08:00%20(1294425483303)"

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, but I still get this error message.

What is going on here, and how can I fix it?  Screenshot above.

Had the same problem. Check your date and time on your computer. This solved the problem for me.
