Problem compiling AIR with linked files

I am trying to compile an AIR app in Flash Builder 4.01; The project has linked files.

I am able to compile in Flash Catalyst to AIR with no problems. But when I try in Flash Builder to export as an AIR application the compiler hangs and doesn't compile. All of the embedded elements work without issue if I compile without adding the assets & images. If I 'Select All' I can click Finish as many times as I want and nothing happens.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Eric

Hi,

Flash Builder has a known limitation with linked files.

Please put your linked assets in a new source folder (Project properties -> Flex Build Path -> Source Path -> Add Folder and point to an external folder).

Unless it is a "source" folder, the compiler ignores assets in these files while exporting.

Thanks,
