error # 2038 - check network connection-public library books won't download to ADE?

I am disabled and purchased a new NOOKColor so I could

check out public library books from my home computer. I have downloaded both

ADE and Overdrive, received ID numbers, validated, authorized, activated all to the same ID

. I CANNOT get a borrowed book from the public library to download to ADE!!!

It keeps giving me an error message #2038 saying to check my "network connection

". What connection am I missing? I have checked my Satelite provider, my library, etc. Even the library can't figu

re out what is wrong. Please HELP?
