Project Files on Network

I understand that project files should NOT be saved on a network to avoid some mishaps, like file corruption.  Does this rule apply to RoboHelp 9?

We are in the process of installing RH 9 and there's a question on whether project source files can be saved to a server and since all correspondence on the subject is before the RH 9 release, I.T. is asking for confirmation that the information holds true for RH9.

Thank you,

Eva

Yup - same rule of thumb applies. You can backup projects on a server; or use some source control software like RoboSource or others to check in/out projects, but work is still done locally.
