Dear RoboHelp experts,

I use Adobe Robohelp 8.0.0.203 and Microsoft Word 2010 (14.0.4760.1000, 32-Bit).

Both programs are installed on my notebook.

I want to import a word document. After the steps

RoboHelp HTML --> Import WordDocument --> I select one time a docx version, and - alternative - the second time a doc version

the error-massage

"The Import Word Document Wizard cannot locate a supported version of Microsoft Word.

Please install Microsoft Word 2000 or newer"

Any useful help is welcome!

thank you and best regards from vienna

Word 2010 is not supported by RoboHelp 8. You need RoboHelp 9 for that.

dear peter,

thank you for your quick answer,

unfortunatly I user Windows SP SP2 which is not supported form RH9 ... 😞

The only solution I see:

install office 2007 or

upgrade to RH9 + upgrade windows

do you have any other idea?

If you stay on RH 8, you should upgrade from 8.0.0.203.

First, upgrade to the 8.0.1 patch, then upgrade to the 8.0.2 patch (these must be installed sequentially).

Good luck,

Leon

RH 8.0.3 + Office 2010 will work?

is RH 8.0.0 + Office 2007 possible?

You could install RoboHelp 9 on your XP machine as long as its got SP3.

Where did you get RH 8.0.3?

Bottom line:

RH 8.0.0/8.0.1/8.0.2 = Office 2007

RH 9 = Office 2010

RH 9 = Windows XP SP3

Good luck,

Leon

Hi,

RH 8 and its patches supports Office 2007.

Support for Office 2010 came in RH 9.

Now your point of concern is XP SP2 for RH 9. Did you try to install RH9 on your machine ?

Thanks,

Mohd Sameer

Hi Mohd,

My quick solution of the problem was deinstalling office 2010 and installing office 2003.

That works perfect.

next week I'll update RH to RH9 and reinstall office 2010.

thanks a lot
