<Div Class-"WordSection1"> being created when importing a Word document

RoboHelp HTML version 8.0.2

Windows XP - Service Pack 3

Word 2007

After my upgrade to Office/Word 2007 each topic of any document imported into RoboHelp now appears within a frame. The HTML code shows:

<div class="WordSection1">

This did not occur previously with Word 2003.

Does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere in RoboHelp or Word that can stop this frame occuring?

Thanks,

Chris

Sorry no as I had to travel to another office yesterday. Gradually catching up.

I'm seeing the same, albeit with Word 2010. Right now I cannot see any way around it. Note that to remove it, it is only necessary to remove the opening DIV tag. RoboHelp removes the closing tag for you.

Not ideal but I cannot see any way of avoiding it.

Please follow this link and report it as a bug.

Just for everyone's information, Adobe have advised as follows:

"The extra HTML code <div class="WordSection1"> is not due to MS Word 2007. The actual cause of the bug is a recent Patch released by Microsoft for both MS Word 2003 and 2007.

So, even with MS Word 2003 also you will get same bug in RoboHelp8, with the MS Word Patch applied.

The bug has already been fixed in RoboHelp9. So, you may like to upgrade to RoboHelp9."

When I get a chance I will try the RoboHelp 9 trial and see if this is true.

I just checked and you don't get the DIV class in RoboHelp 9.

You get the class<p class="WD_Normal">&#160;</p> applied to all paragraphs but I think that happened before, albeit as MsoNormal.
