Captivate 4 - Timeline objects not present on interactive quiz slides

Recently (this morning) my captivate project which has custom made quiz slides in it, has something wrong. On any non-interactive slide, the timeline is present and working, things can be added to those slides. For any interactive page, the timeline shows up, but is blank, if you click in it, it acts like something is there - I can make everything visible or locked, but the icons for those are not showing nor any objects present on the screen. Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone know what to do about this? It is only this file, all others still work.

Hi there

You might try clobbering the preferences file. If you look in the following location, you should find the file named captivate_40.dat. Just Close Captivate, delete the file and restart Captivate.

To locate this file, right-click your Start button and choose Explore. This should easily get you in the general area. If you look at the parent folder you should see Application Data. (you may need to configure Windows Explorer to show you this folder) Inside the Application Data folder should be an Adobe folder. And inside the Adobe folder should be the Adobe Captivate folder. And inside this folder should be the file.
