replicating movie color grading in photoshop

      Hello all,

Been one of those topics I've been meaning ot investigate further for a long time.

I am just wondering when I go to watch movies like The Matrix, Minority Report, Skyline / actually just about every movie that comes out thes days obviously has color grading done throughout with certain hues heavily used in some movies/scenese to help convey the mood/message of a particular scene

I'm hoping to be able to learn to replicate such effects in some of my photographs using photoshop. I know I can use color balance/color mixer for basic hue adjustments, but I am hoping to be able to replicate the feel of what I see in some movies.

I guess I'm looking for some more advanced tutorials on the subject.

      Any help would be great
