Nothing there after generating Microsoft HTML Help

Hi,

I am using Robohelp 9 on a Windows 7 machine  for a Robpohelp HTML project.

To see if I could reproduce it, I tried this with two different projects, my original one and a new one, in a different folder, that I used for testing.

When I select "Microsoft HTML Help" as the layout and generate it, the message says that "Microsoft HTML Help was built succesfully" but when I click the "View Result" button nothing happens.

When looking at the folder where it should have been created, the folder is empty.

Are you using Norton AV by any chance? I had a similar experience because Norton deemed some file unsafe. I'll try to locate the details if this could be the reason.

No, I am not. I am not using an anti-virus program.

Also, I can generate help files in other layout, just not chm files.

The problem I had only affected CHMs because the AV blew away the viewer.

Brave soul not using AV software.

I assume you have checked and rechecked your paths and you are generating to a local folder so I'll have to leave it to someone who works more with CHMs than I do.

Hi there

When you double-click the single source layout for Microsoft HTML Help, please copy the contents of the first field and paste them into a forum post for us to review.

Cheers... Rick
