shooternz Feb 26, 2011 2:55 PM (in response to rowby)Import>Project
It will come in as a Project folder and you should be able add any of the sequences to a new one.

Bill Hunt Feb 26, 2011 2:56 PM (in response to rowby)OK, you might need to "read between my lines" here a bit, but before Sequences had the important settings (back in the dark ages, the Project Preset established the Sequence settings), one did this from File>Import>Project. I would not think that this would have changed, but perhaps it has.
If it's not there in CS5, look under the Sequence button in the Toolbar. Should be in one of those two places.
Good luck,
Hunt

Bill Hunt Feb 26, 2011 2:57 PM (in response to shooternz)Well, looks like it has not moved. Glad that you beat me to the punch, for the OP anyway.

rowby Feb 26, 2011 4:53 PM (in response to shooternz)Ah yes.
When I choose File > Import I get the usual Windows list of files in a folder, showing ALL the readable files. Then, from the drop down menu, I can filter it further to just show the "Adobe Premere Pro Projects".
It's pretty standard Windows file display. I guess what confused me was seeing a bunch of avi files -- so I thought I could only import avi files.
Thanks!

Bill Hunt Feb 26, 2011 5:22 PM (in response to rowby)Rowby,
Glad that you found what you needed, and also that Craig informed both of us, that CS5 had not moved things around.
Good luck,
Hunt

Colin Brougham Feb 27, 2011 7:31 AM (in response to rowby)The Media Browser will also reveal project files; from there, it's a simple matter of dragging it into the Project Panel. You'll be presented with the same dialog to import all or some selected sequences. I find this method easier than digging through a file-finding dialog, but there are several ways to skin this particular cat.
