Please help. At first when I tried to transfer library books from ADE to my Kobo I got an error message "some file(s) cannot be transferred".I reinstalled ADE and  reauthorized ADE and my Kobo, per Kobo help advice. Now I get an errror message that says I do not have permission to transfer the files. Kobo help says the issue is with my library. I  contacted Netlibrary (the source of the books I borrowed on line) and they say they cannot find a problem. Has anyone else had this problem? Are any other ereaders easier to use to read library books? Thanks!!

The message is telling you that you haven't set up the reader properly,

because it will capture your Kobo User ID when you log into Kobo via the

ereader. If you haven't done that - like you would to update the ereader

software - then ADE won't recognise the ereader and set it up as authorized.

Hi, Make sure your Kobo is up on your desktop BEFORE you open Adobe Digital Editions. That's the only way it will recognize the Kobo. Then you'll see a little 'Kobo ereader' label in the viewing pane on the left hand side... Now just drag the book you've downloaded over to that 'Kobo ereader' label and you're all set. Good Luck.
