1. Re: Not dire, but annoying message "fonts not currently available"
Stix Hart Mar 7, 2011 12:03 PM (in response to Canned Pug)To get rid of the message just go to Find Font and change it for a font you do have, problem solved, you won't get that warning again. That black placeholder looks to me like it does have something there though, are you sure it's not type with a paper fill? That way you won't see it on a white background or when selected, try changing the colour...

P Spier Mar 7, 2011 12:04 PM (in response to Canned Pug)Check the style definitions. And it would probably be worthwhile to tell Find Font to replace All with the version that's installed, and check the box to redfine styles.

Tom Usrey Mar 7, 2011 12:13 PM (in response to Canned Pug)I agree with Stix that there does seem to be some type there. A sure way to check is with the Story Editor; even if the type is white/paper it will show up in the Story Editor.

4. Re: Not dire, but annoying message "fonts not currently available"
Canned Pug Mar 7, 2011 12:25 PM (in response to P Spier)This resolved accidently...I couldn't select the item and saw it only when the dialog box was open... as soon as I went to the choosing tool, it disappeared. On a very closeup view I recognized as I briefly scolled, that it was on a layer that was turned off: These are template files from the publisher that included presets that won't print and can be, which I did 100 yrs ago, turned off.
Thanks guys, you're all pals! You all get gold stars if I can figure how to do it..
(...sniff)
